Editor's review
This program helps convert drawings in PDF into CAD drawings of DXF format, an industry standard format.
This is a program that is able to convert drawings in PDF files into DXF format, one of the industry standard formats that will allow complete editing of the drawing. All elements are converted into AutoCAD elements. This includes entities like polylines, polygons, text and etc. All PDF drawing elements are converted into CAD drawing elements. This program works stand alone and does not need the presence of AutoCAD or any other CAD programs that can handle the PDF/DXF formats. The program extracts embedded raster images too easily. Layers in the PDF drawings are created into same layers in the DXF drawings. In the batch mode it can handle thousands of files. The conversion process maintains the quality of the original drawings.
The trial module could be used 20 times. That should be enough to test out many representative samples from the types of drawings handled in your shop. If you work with many partners that use drawings but do not use, nor need, CAD programs to handle the drawings in the native format, his is a useful tool you`ll need. It`ll save tying up a AutoCAD or a similar tool to do just that conversion. The interface makes the work easy too. The main effort is involved in creating the list of files for the batch. Having done that, simply click the convert button. If you need to abort the process, simply use the stop button. If you shop calls for such a tool, try it out and then include it in your workflow!
